Artist in Residence – Gudrun Petersdorff at Los Pajeros

With brush, paint, and an eye for the island’s unique moods, artist Gudrun Petersdorff was a guest at our partner property Los Pajeros. As part of a personal artist-in-residence stay, she spent several weeks on the east coast of La Palma – inspired by the island’s distinctive landscape, light, and atmosphere.

The emotional power of this environment is reflected in her richly colored works: tropical plants, rugged volcanic formations, and the deep blue of the Atlantic – all captured in bold, expressive compositions that speak their own visual language.

Gudrun Petersdorff is one of Germany’s renowned artists, known for the pictorial poetry that defines her work. Her time on La Palma became an intense dialogue between nature, color, and emotion – and Los Pajeros provided the perfect place of retreat for this creative process.
